"The M&M's of Rotary"

Rotary District Governor Chuck Cicchella had an assortment of M's describing Rotary and it's many worthwhile projects.

Membership and Money: Reflect on what caused you to join Rotary and invite other like-minded individuals to join. Learn more about the programs sponsored by Rotary dues; encourage young people to apply for the various Rotary educational programs, such as the Ambassadorial Scholar program and other scholarships.

Methods and Mechanics: Continue to help Rotary International fight Polio worldwide, which is 97% eradicated. Rotarians have been responsible for immunizing two billion children. Leverage Rotary's Simplified Grants to assist local clubs with ambitious projects in their communities.

Magnitude: Each club in the District is asked to send a photo of Rotarians in action for a publication that will be mailed to each Rotarian. Attend the 2010 District Conference May 20-23, which will have a focus on the family and feature a day at the Holiday World amusement park.

Miracles: Each and every Rotarian's commitment to making the world and their community a better place.
